At present there are ten NGOs on board Pathways. They are located in Northern and Southern regions of India and are working to combat issues related to violations of labor rules. The Pathways service currently hosts data from around 250 communities located across 20 districts of India. The intervention areas for five lies in South India mainly Tamil Nadu and rest of the five lies in North India covering UP and Bihar. In India, district is an administrative unit of a state or territory. The records are from communities meaning hamlets in Pathway's context which are mainly situated in the interior areas within a district.

During the process of evolving Pathways multiple meetings, trainings, demo sessions were conducted with partners and different stakeholders to understand their current case management system, their needs and expectations from the software.
